Train Simulation
KMK was tasked by a major coal handling exporter to review their newly installed car Dumper system for equipment acceptance by evaluating the current throughput capacity against the client’s original specification.
This task included a site visit for equipment inspection, system control software. (PLC/HMI/SCADA) review, power requirement calculations, new plant time-cycle and running the train dynamic simulation program.
- Using in-house developed program in conjunction with the University of the West of England (UWE).
- Unique and fully customisable train simulation software backed up with dynamic mathematical inputs.
- Analysis of train pulling loads through unique sequential finite programming.
- Individual wagon coupler loads.
- Individual wagon coupler Noise analysis.
- Output data such as Positioner/Indexer Arm forces and power requirements for the train mover machines.
